Ḥasan ibn Mūsā narrated to us saying: Qazaʿah narrated to us saying: Ḥumayd al-Aʿraj narrated to me, from al-Zuhrī, from Maḥmūd ibn Labīd, from Shaddād ibn Aws رضي الله عنه, who said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "When you attend to your dying, close their eyes, for the sight follows the soul. And say good things, for the angels say 'āmīn' to what the family of the deceased say."
