حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَن سَعِيدٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ عَن أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ عَن عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي ال
ْعَاصِ وَامْرَأَةٍ مِنْ قَيْسٍ أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي خَطَئِي وَعَمْدِي اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَهْدِيكَ لِأَرْشَدِ أَمْرِي وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِي

English Translation
ʿUthmān ibn Abī al-ʿĀṣ and a woman from Qays both narrated that they heard the Prophet ﷺ — one of them said: I heard him say: "O Allah, forgive me my sins — my mistakes and my deliberate ones. O Allah, I seek Your guidance to the most upright of my affairs, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of my own self."
