حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ وَرَّادٍ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ قَالَ ر

َسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَرِهَ لَكُمْ ثَلَاثًا قِيلَ وَقَالَ وَكَثْرَةَ السُّؤَالِ وَإِضَاعَةَ الْمَالِ وَحَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأْدَ الْبَنَاتِ وَعُقُوقَ الْأُمَّهَاتِ وَمَنَعَ وَهَاتِ

English Translation

Ḥusayn narrated to us, Shaybān narrated to us, from Manṣūr, from al-Shaʿbī, from Warrād, from al-Mughīrah ibn Shuʿbah رضي الله عنه who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Allah dislikes three things for you: gossip, excessive questioning, and wasting wealth. And He has forbidden for you: disobedience to mothers, burying daughters alive, and withholding while demanding.'
