English Translation
Ḥajjāj narrated to us, Shuʿbah narrated to me, from Jābir al-Juʿfī, from al-Mughīrah ibn Shibl who said: I heard him narrating from Qays ibn Abī Ḥāzim, from al-Mughīrah ibn Shuʿbah: He stood up in the (first) two rakʿahs. The people said 'Subḥān Allāh.' He said: I think he said 'Subḥān Allāh' and continued. Then he performed two prostrations of forgetfulness after the salām and said: 'This is what we did with the Prophet ﷺ.' The doubt is only regarding whether he said 'Subḥān Allāh.'
