حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ رُفَيْعٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ تَم
ِيمَ بْنَ طَرَفَةَ الطَّائِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ فَرَأَى غَيْرَهَا خَيْرًا مِنْهَا فَلْيَأْتِ الَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ وَلْيَتْرُكْ يَمِينَهُ

English Translation
Bahz narrated to us, Shuʿbah narrated to us, ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Rufayʿ informed me, he said: I heard Tamīm ibn Ṭarafah al-Ṭāʾī narrating from ʿAdī ibn Ḥātim رضي الله عنه who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever swears an oath then sees something better than it, let him do what is better and leave his oath.'
