حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ابْنِ حَسَنَةَ قَالَ كُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَنَزَلْنَا أَرْضًا كَثِيرَةَ الضِّبَ
ابِ قَالَ فَأَصَبْنَا مِنْهَا وَذَبَحْنَا قَالَ فَبَيْنَا الْقُدُورُ تَغْلِي بِهَا إِذْ خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ أُمَّةً مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ فُقِدَتْ وَإِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ تَكُونَ هِيَ فَأَكْفِئُوهَا فَأَكْفَأْنَاهَا

English Translation
ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Ḥasanah said: We were with the Prophet ﷺ on a journey and we camped in an area with many lizards (ḍibāb). We caught some and slaughtered them, and while the cooking pots were boiling with them, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out and said: 'A nation from the Children of Israel was lost, and I fear these might be them. Pour them out.' So we poured them out.
