حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي السَّفَرِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الشَّعْبِيَّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُرْوَةُ بْنُ مُضَرِّسٍ قَالَ
أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ بِجَمْعٍ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَلْ لِي مِنْ حَجٍّ فَقَالَ مَنْ صَلَّى مَعَنَا هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةَ فِي هَذَا الْمَكَانِ وَوَقَفَ مَعَنَا هَذَا الْمَوْقِفَ حَتَّى يُفِيضَ أَفَاضَ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ مِنْ عَرَفَاتٍ لَيْلًا أَوْ نَهَارًا فَقَدْ تَمَّ حَجُّهُ وَقَضَى تَفَثَهُ

English Translation
Muḥammad ibn Jaʿfar narrated to us, Shuʿbah narrated to us, from ʿAbdullāh ibn Abī al-Safar, who said: I heard al-Shaʿbī who said: ʿUrwah ibn Muḍarris رضي الله عنه narrated to us, he said: 'I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was at Jamʿ and said: O Messenger of Allah, do I have a valid Hajj?' He said: 'Whoever prays this prayer with us in this place and stands with us at this standing place until he departs — having departed before that from ʿArafāt by night or by day — his Hajj is complete and he has fulfilled his rites.'
