English Translation
Yaḥyā ibn ʿAbd al-Malik ibn Abī Ghaniyyah narrated to us, ʿUqbah ibn al-Mughīrah narrated to us, from the grandfather of his father, al-Mukhāriq, who said: I met ʿAmmār رضي الله عنه on the Day of the Camel while he was urinating in a horn. I said: 'I will fight with you and be by your side.' He said: 'Fight under the banner of your people, for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to prefer that a man fight under the banner of his people.'
