English Translation

Abū Kāmil narrated to us, Zuhayr narrated to us, Simāk ibn Ḥarb narrated to us, al-Nuʿmān ibn Bashīr رضي الله عنه narrated to us — speaking from the minbar of Kūfah — he said: 'By Allah, the Prophet ﷺ — or he said: your Prophet عليه السلام — could not fill himself with even poor-quality dates. And you are not satisfied without varieties of dates and butter.'
