حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ وَحُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ ذَهَبَ أَبِي بَشِيرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ إِلَى رَسُولِ ا
للَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِيُشْهِدَهُ عَلَى نُحْلٍ نَحَلَنِيهِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَكُلَّ بَنِيكَ نَحَلْتَ مِثْلَ هَذَا قَالَ لَا قَالَ فَأَرْجِعْهَا

English Translation
ʿAbd al-Razzāq narrated to us, Maʿmar narrated to us, from al-Zuhrī, Muḥammad ibn al-Nuʿmān ibn Bashīr and Ḥumayd ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn ʿAwf informed me, from al-Nuʿmān ibn Bashīr رضي الله عنه who said: My father Bashīr ibn Saʿd went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to have him witness a gift he gave me. the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Did you give all your sons the same as this?' He said: 'No.' He said: 'Then take it back.'
