Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا إِسْحَاقَ يُحَدّ
ِثُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ يَزِيدَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ يَخْطُبُ فَقَالَ أَنَا الْبَرَاءُ وَهُوَ غَيْرُ كَذُوبٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ الرُّكُوعِ قَامُوا قِيَامًا حَتَّى يَسْجُدَ ثُمَّ يَسْجُدُونَ

English Translation
Wakīʿ narrated to us, from Misʿar, from ʿAdī ibn Thābit, from al-Barāʾ, who said: We used to pray behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and when he raised his head from bowing, I never saw anyone bend his back until the Messenger of Allah ﷺ placed his forehead on the ground — then the people would fall in prostration after him.
