حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ وَهَاشِمٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ أَصَبْنَا يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ حُمُرًا فَنَادَى مُنَادِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ أَكْفِئُوا الْقُدُورَ حَدَّثَنَا هَاش
ِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ وَابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ وَابْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى

English Translation
Muḥammad and Hāshim narrated to us, saying: Shuʿbah narrated to us, from Abū Isḥāq, from al-Barāʾ ibn ʿĀzib, who said: On the day of Khaybar, we captured some donkeys, and the crier of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called out: "Overturn the cooking pots!" Hāshim narrated to us: Shuʿbah narrated to us, from ʿAdī ibn Thābit, from al-Barāʾ ibn ʿĀzib, from the Prophet ﷺ — something similar. Ibn Jaʿfar said in this hadith: I heard al-Barāʾ and Ibn Abī Awfā.
