حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ
عَازِبٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ذَكَرَ عَذَابَ الْقَبْرِ قَالَ يُقَالُ لَهُ مَنْ رَبُّكَ فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ رَبِّي وَنَبِيِّي مُحَمَّدٌ فَذَلِكَ قَوْلُهُ { يُثَبِّتُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِالْقَوْلِ الثَّابِتِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا } يَعْنِي بِذَلِكَ الْمُسْلِمَ

English Translation
Muḥammad ibn Jaʿfar narrated to us: Shuʿbah narrated to us, from ʿAlqamah ibn Marthad, from Saʿd ibn ʿUbaydah, from al-Barāʾ ibn ʿĀzib, from the Prophet ﷺ, who mentioned the punishment of the grave. He said: "He will be asked: Who is your Lord? He will say: Allah is my Lord and my Prophet is Muḥammad." That is the meaning of His saying: "Allah keeps firm those who believe with the firm word in worldly life" [Ibrāhīm 14:27] — meaning the Muslim.
