حَدَّثَنَا أَسْبَاطٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْم

َنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى تَكُونَ إِبْهَامَاهُ حِذَاءَ أُذُنَيْهِ

English Translation
Asbāṭ narrated from Yazīd ibn Abī Ziyād, from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Abī Laylā, from al-Barāʾ ibn ʿĀzib, who said: 'When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would begin the prayer, he would raise his hands until his thumbs were level with his ears.'
