حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مُخَارِقٍ عَنْ طَارِقٍ قَالَ قَدِمَ وَفْدُ أَحْمَسَ وَوَفْدُ قَيْسٍ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ و
َسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ابْدَءُوا بِالْأَحْمَسِيِّينَ قَبْلَ الْقَيْسِيِّينَ وَدَعَا لِأَحْمَسَ فَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ فِي أَحْمَسَ وَخَيْلِهَا وَرِجَالِهَا سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ

English Translation
Abū Aḥmad Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us, Sufyān narrated to us, from Mukhāriq, from Ṭāriq who said: The delegation of Aḥmas and the delegation of Qays came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Begin with the Aḥmasīs before the Qaysīs.' And he supplicated for Aḥmas, saying: 'O Allah, bless Aḥmas, its horsemen, and its men' — seven times.
