َيْسِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَغَزَوْتُ فِي خِلَافَةِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا وَأَرْبَعِينَ مِنْ غَزْوَةٍ إِلَى سَرِيَّةٍ

English Translation
Muḥammad ibn Jaʿfar narrated to us, Shuʿbah narrated to us, from Qays ibn Muslim, from Ṭāriq ibn Shihāb who said: 'I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I fought in thirty-three — or forty-three — campaigns during the caliphates of Abū Bakr and ʿUmar, between full expeditions and raiding parties.'
