English Translation

ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-Walīd narrated to us, Sufyān narrated to me, from ʿĀṣim ibn Kulayb, from his father, from Wāʾil ibn Ḥujr who said: I saw the Prophet ﷺ when he pronounced the takbīr raise his hands level with his ears, then when he bowed, then when he said: 'Allah hears the one who praises Him,' he raised his hands. I saw him grasping his right over his left in the prayer. When he sat, he formed a ring with his middle finger and thumb, pointed with his index finger, and placed his right hand on his right thigh and his left hand on his left thigh.
