حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنِ الْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ قَالَ أُهْدِيَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَقْبِيَةٌ مُزَرَّرَةٌ بِالذَّهَبِ فَقَسَمَهَا فِي أَصْحَابِهِ فَقَالَ مَخْرَمَةُ يَا مِسْوَرُ اذْهَبْ بِنَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ
وَسَلَّمَ فَإِنَّهُ قَدْ ذُكِرَ لِي أَنَّهُ قَسَمَ أَقْبِيَةً فَانْطَلَقْنَا فَقَالَ ادْخُلْ فَادْعُهُ لِي قَالَ فَدَخَلْتُ فَدَعَوْتُهُ إِلَيْهِ فَخَرَجَ إِلَيَّ وَعَلَيْهِ قَبَاءٌ مِنْهَا قَالَ خَبَأْتُ لَكَ هَذَا يَا مَخْرَمَةُ قَالَ فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ رَضِيَ فَأَعْطَاهُ إِيَّاهُ

English Translation
Hāshim narrated to us, Layth narrated to us, ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿUbayd Allāh ibn Abī Mulaykah narrated to me, from al-Miswar ibn Makhramah, who said: Cloaks fastened with gold buttons were gifted to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he distributed them among his Companions. Makhramah said: "O Miswar, come take us to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, for I have been told that he distributed some cloaks." So we went, and he said: "Enter and call him out for me." I entered and called him, and he came out to me wearing one of the cloaks. He said: "I saved this for you, O Makhramah." Makhramah looked at it and said: "Raḍiya (I am satisfied)." And he gave it to him.
