English Translation

Yūnus narrated to us, Ḥammād — meaning ibn Salamah — narrated to us, from Saʿīd al-Jurayrī, from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Shaqīq, from Miḥjan ibn al-Adraʿ, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed the people and said: "The Day of Salvation — what is the Day of Salvation? The Day of Salvation — what is the Day of Salvation?" — three times. It was said to him: "What is the Day of Salvation?" He said: "The Dajjāl will come and ascend Mount Uḥud. He will look at Madinah and say to his companions: 'Do you see that white palace? That is the Mosque of Aḥmad.' Then he will approach Madinah and find at every pass an angel with a drawn sword. He will come to the salt flat of al-Ḥarf and pitch his tent. Then Madinah will shake with three tremors, and no hypocrite — man or woman — nor any sinner — man or woman — will remain except that they will go out to him. That is the Day of Salvation."
