حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى قَالَ أَصَبْنَا حُمُرًا خَارِجًا مِنْ الْقَرْيَةِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّ
Body (Matn)
هُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَكْفِئُوا الْقُدُورَ بِمَا فِيهَا فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِسَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ فَقَالَ إِنَّمَا نَهَى عَنْهَا أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَأْكُلُ الْعَذِرَةَ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Ibn Abī Awfā narrated: We obtained donkeys outside the village, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Overturn the pots with what is in them.' I mentioned that to Saʿīd ibn Jubayr, and he said: 'He only prohibited them because they used to eat filth.'
