English Translation
Hāshim ibn al-Qāsim narrated to us, Sharīk narrated to us, from Yaʿlā ibn ʿAṭāʾ, from ʿAmr ibn al-Sharīd, from his father, who said: A man afflicted with leprosy from Thaqīf came to the Prophet ﷺ to pledge allegiance to him. So I went to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned that to him, and he said: 'Go to him and tell him that I have accepted his pledge of allegiance, so let him go back.'
