حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَمْرَو بْنَ الشَّرِيدِ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَبِعَ رَجُلًا مِنْ ثَقِيفٍ حَتَّى هَرْوَلَ فِي أَثَرِهِ حَتَّى أَخَذَ ثَوْبَهُ فَقَالَ ارْفَعْ
إِزَارَكَ قَالَ فَكَشَفَ الرَّجُلُ عَنْ رُكْبَتَيْهِ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أَحْنَفُ وَتَصْطَكُّ رُكْبَتَايَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كُلُّ خَلْقِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حَسَنٌ قَالَ وَلَمْ يُرَ ذَلِكَ الرَّجُلُ إِلَّا وَإِزَارُهُ إِلَى أَنْصَافِ سَاقَيْهِ حَتَّى مَاتَ

English Translation
Rawḥ narrated to us, Zakariyyā ibn Isḥāq narrated to us, Ibrāhīm ibn Maysarah informed us that he heard ʿAmr ibn al-Sharīd narrating from his father, that the Prophet ﷺ followed a man from Thaqīf, hurrying after him until he caught hold of his garment, and said: 'Raise your izār!' The man uncovered his knees and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I am knock-kneed and my knees knock together.' the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'All of Allah's creation عز وجل is good.' He said: That man was never seen thereafter except with his izār reaching to the middle of his shins, until he died.
