حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الْمُعَلِّمِ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الشَّرِيدِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ الشَّرِيدِ بْنِ سُوَ

يْدٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرْضٌ لَيْسَ لِأَحَدٍ فِيهَا شَرِيكٌ وَلَا قَسْمٌ إِلَّا الْجِوَارَ قَالَ الْجَارُ أَحَقُّ بِسَقَبِهِ مَا كَانَ

English Translation

Yaḥyā ibn Saʿīd narrated to us, from Ḥusayn al-Muʿallim, ʿAmr ibn Shuʿayb narrated to us, ʿAmr ibn al-Sharīd narrated to me, from his father al-Sharīd ibn Suwayd, who said: I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, there is land in which no one has a partner or allotment except by adjacency.' He said: 'The neighbor has more right by his proximity as long as it remains.'
