English Translation
Muḥammad ibn ʿUbayd narrated to us, al-Aʿmash narrated to us, from Shaqīq, from Abū Mūsā, who said: A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'A person loves a people but has not caught up with them [in deeds].' He said: 'A person is with those whom he loves.'
