حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ قَالَ كَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَأَبُو مُو
سَى جَالِسَيْنِ وَهُمَا يَتَذَاكَرَانِ الْحَدِيثَ فَقَالَ أَبُو مُوسَى قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ السَّاعَةِ أَيَّامٌ يُرْفَعُ فِيهَا الْعِلْمُ وَيَنْزِلُ فِيهَا الْجَهْلُ وَيَكْثُرُ فِيهَا الْهَرْجُ وَالْهَرْجُ الْقَتْلُ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Muḥammad ibn ʿUbayd narrated to us, al-Aʿmash narrated to us, from Shaqīq, who said: ʿAbd Allāh and Abū Mūsā were sitting together, discussing ḥadīth. Abū Mūsā said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Before the Hour there will be days in which knowledge will be removed, ignorance will descend, and al-harj will increase' — and al-harj means killing.
