ʿAbd al-Raḥmān and Ibn Jaʿfar narrated to us, they said: Shuʿbah narrated to us, from ʿAmr ibn Murrah, from Abū ʿUbaydah, from Abū Mūsā, who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us with four [statements]. He said: 'Allah عز وجل does not sleep, nor does it befit Him to sleep. He lowers and raises the Scale. The deeds of the night are raised to Him during the day, and the deeds of the day during the night.'
