حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ صَالِحٍ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي بُر
ْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ أَمَةٌ فَعَلَّمَهَا فَأَحْسَنَ تَعْلِيمَهَا وَأَدَّبَهَا فَأَحْسَنَ تَأْدِيبَهَا وَأَعْتَقَهَا فَتَزَوَّجَهَا فَلَهُ أَجْرَانِ وَعَبْدٌ أَدَّى حَقَّ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَحَقَّ مَوَالِيهِ وَرَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ آمَنَ بِمَا جَاءَ بِهِ عِيسَى وَمَا جَاءَ بِهِ مُحَمَّدٌ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَهُ أَجْرَانِ

English Translation
ʿAbd al-Raḥmān narrated to us, from Sufyān, from Ṣāliḥ al-Thawrī, from al-Shaʿbī, from Abū Burdah, from Abū Mūsā, from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: 'Whoever has a slave girl and educates her well, disciplines her well, then frees her and marries her, he shall have two rewards. And a slave who fulfills his duty to Allah عز وجل and his duty to his masters [shall have two rewards]. And a man from the People of the Book who believed in what Jesus brought and what Muḥammad ﷺ brought shall have two rewards.'
