حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَن لَيْثٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بُرْدَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَن أَبِيهِ قَالَ إِنَّ أُنَاسًا

مَرُّوا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِجِنَازَةٍ يُسْرِعُونَ بِهَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِتَكُونَ عَلَيْكُمْ السَّكِينَةُ

English Translation

Muḥammad ibn Jaʿfar narrated to us, Shuʿbah narrated to us, from Layth, who said: I heard Abū Burdah narrating from his father, who said: Some people passed by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ carrying a funeral bier quickly. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'You should carry it with tranquility and dignity.'
