Chain of Narration (Isnad)
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَخْبَرَنَا لَيْثٌ عَن أَبِي بُرْدَةَ بْنِ أَبِي مُوسَى عَن أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَرَّتْ بِرَسُولِ
Body (Matn)
اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جِنَازَةٌ تُمْخَضُ مَخْضَ الزِّقِّ قَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ الْقَصْدَ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Ismāʿīl narrated to us, Layth informed us, from Abū Burdah ibn Abī Mūsā, from his father, who said: A funeral bier passed by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ being shaken like a waterskin being churned. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'You must maintain a steady, dignified pace.'
