English Translation

ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad narrated to us — and I heard it from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad ibn Abī Shaybah — Muḥammad ibn Fuḍayl narrated to us, from Yazīd ibn Abī Ziyād, from Sulaymān ibn ʿAmr ibn al-Aḥwaṣ who said: The owner of this house, Abū Hilāl, informed me. He said: I heard Abū Barzah say: We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey. He heard two men singing to each other, one answering the other, and one of them was saying: ‘His bones will remain exposed forever; war has kept him from being shrouded and buried.’ the Prophet ﷺ said: ‘Look at who they are.’ They said: So-and-so and so-and-so. He said: ‘O Allah, cast them into the Fire on the Day of Resurrection.’
