‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏خَالِدٌ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏أَبِي الْمِنْهَالِ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏أَبِي بَرْزَةَ ‏ ‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏كَانَ ‏ ‏يَكْرَهُ النَّوْمَ قَبْلَ الْعِشَاءِ وَلَا يُحِبُّ الْحَدِيثَ بَعْدَهَا ‏

English Translation

ʿAbd al-Wahhāb ibn ʿAbd al-Majīd narrated to us, Khālid narrated to us, from Abī al-Minhāl, from Abū Barzah, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to dislike sleeping before ʿIshāʾ and did not like talking after it.
