English Translation
Bahz narrated to us: Hammām narrated to us: Qatādah narrated to us: al-Hasan narrated to us, from ‘Imrān ibn Husayn, that a man came to the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ and said: My son has died. What is my share of his inheritance? He said: You get one-sixth. When the man turned to leave, the Prophet ﷺ called him back and said: You get another sixth as a gift.
