حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ عَنِ الْحَسَن

ِ قَالَ ثَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ أُتِيَ بِرَجُلٍ أَعْتَقَ سِتَّةَ مَمْلُوكِينَ عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ وَلَيْسَ لَهُ مَالٌ غَيْرُهُمْ فَأَقْرَعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَهُمْ فَأَعْتَقَ اثْنَيْنِ وَأَرَقَّ أَرْبَعَةً

English Translation
Hāshim narrated to us, al-Mubārak narrated to us, from al-Ḥasan, ʿImrān ibn Ḥuṣayn narrated to us, who said: A man was brought who had freed six slaves upon his death and had no other property besides them. the Prophet ﷺ drew lots among them, freed two, and kept four in bondage.
