حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَحَسْنُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَا ثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا غَيْلَانُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ أَنَا وَعِمْرَانُ خَلْفَ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ فَكَانَ إِذَا سَجَدَ كَبَّرَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ كَبَّرَ وَإِذَا نَهَض
َ مِنْ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ كَبَّرَ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفْنَا أَخَذَ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ الْحُصَيْنِ بِيَدِي فَقَالَ لَقَدْ صَلَّى بِنَا هَذَا مِثْلَ صَلَاةِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْ قَالَ لَقَدْ ذَكَّرَنِي هَذَا صَلَاةَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

English Translation
Sulaymān ibn Ḥarb and Ḥasan ibn Mūsā said: Ḥammād ibn Zayd narrated to us, Ghaylan ibn Jarīr narrated to us, from Muṭarrif, who said: I and ʿImrān prayed behind ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib. He would say takbīr when prostrating, when raising his head, and when rising from the second rakʿah. When we finished, ʿImrān ibn Ḥuṣayn took my hand and said: ‘This man has prayed with us a prayer like the prayer of Muḥammad ﷺ’ — or he said: ‘This man has reminded me of the prayer of Muḥammad ﷺ.’
