َادَةُ وَقَالَ حَسَنٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَن أَبِي حَسَّانَ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُحَدِّثُنَا عَامَّةَ لَيْلِهِ عَنْ بَنِى إِسْرَائِيلَ لَا يَقُومُ إِلَّا لِعُظْمِ صَلَاةٍ

English Translation

ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us, my father narrated to me, Ḥasan ibn Mūsā and ʿAffān said: Abū Hilāl informed us. ʿAffān said: Qatādah informed us. And Ḥasan said: from Qatādah, from Abū Ḥassān al-Aʿraj, from ʿImrān ibn Ḥuṣayn, who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to speak to us for the greater part of the night about Banū Isrāʿīl, not rising except for a major prayer.
