حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَنَامَ عَنْ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى طَلَعَتْ الشَّمْسُ فَاسْتَيْقَظَ فَأَمَرَ فَأُذِّنَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ انْتَظَرَ حَتَّى اسْتَقَلَّتْ ثُمَّ أَمَرَ فَقَامَ فَصَلَّى
English Translation
ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us, my father narrated to me, ʿAbd al-Wahhāb ibn ʿAṭāʿ informed us, Yūnus informed us, from al-Ḥasan, from ʿImrān ibn Ḥuṣayn, that the Prophet ﷺ was on a journey and slept through the morning prayer until the sun rose. He woke up and ordered the adhān to be called. Then he prayed two rakʿahs (the Fajr sunnah), then waited until the sun had risen higher, then stood and prayed (the Fajr obligatory prayer).
