English Translation
Yazīd narrated to us, Shuʿbah informed us, from Abū Qazaʿah, from Ḥakīm ibn Muʿāwiyah, from his father, from the Prophet ﷺ. He said: A man asked him: ‘What is the right of a wife upon her husband?’ He said: “You feed her when you eat, clothe her when you clothe yourself, do not strike the face, do not insult her, and do not abandon her except within the house.”
