حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَم

ُرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا نَكَحَ وَلِيَّانِ فَهِيَ لِلْأَوَّلِ وَإِذَا بَاعَ وَلِيَّانِ فَالْبَيْعُ لِلْأَوَّلِ

English Translation
‘Abd al-Ṣamad narrated to us, Hishām narrated to us, from Qatādah, from al-Ḥasan, from Samurah, that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “If two guardians give a woman in marriage, she belongs to the first of them. And if two guardians sell a sale, the sale belongs to the first of them.”
