حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ ثَنَا مُعَاذٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَن أَبِي بُرْدَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَن أَبِيهِ ع
َبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا خَافَ قَوْمًا قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَجْعَلُكَ فِي نُحُورِهِمْ وَنَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شُرُورِهِمْ

English Translation
Hushaym narrated to us, he said: Dāwūd ibn Abī Hind narrated to us, from Abū Ḥarb ibn Abī al-Aswad, from his father, from Abū Mūsā that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to supplicate with this supplication: 'O Allah, forgive me my sin and my ignorance, and my excess in my affair, and what You know better than me. O Allah, forgive me my seriousness and my jesting, my mistakes and my deliberate acts — and all of that is with me.'
