English Translation
‘Affān narrated to us, Hammād narrated to us, Qatādah informed us, from al-Ḥasan, from Samurah: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘The Qur’ān was revealed in three modes (aḥruf).’ ‘Affān said on one occasion: ‘The Qur’ān was sent down...’
