حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَحَجَّاجٌ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عِيَاضًا أَبَا خَالِدٍ قَالَ
رَأَيْتُ رَجُلَيْنِ يَخْتَصِمَانِ عِنْدَ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ فَقَالَ مَعْقِلُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ لِيَقْتَطِعَ بِهَا مَالَ رَجُلٍ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانُ

English Translation
Muḥammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, Shu‘bah narrated to us; and Hajjāj (narrated to us), Shu‘bah informed us, he said: I heard ‘Iyāḍ Abū Khālid say: I saw two men disputing before Ma‘qil ibn Yasār, and Ma‘qil ibn Yasār said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Whoever swears a false oath to seize thereby the property of a man will meet Allah while He is wrathful with him.’
