Chain of Narration (Isnad)
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ بْنِ مِلْحَانَ الْقَيْسِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ
Body (Matn)
صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْمُرُنَا بِصِيَامِ لَيَالِي الْبِيضِ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ وَأَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ وَخَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ وَقَالَ هِيَ كَصَوْمِ الدَّهْرِ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
It was narrated from Qaṭādah ibn Milḥān from his father that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to command them to fast the white nights (ḧayālī al-bīḍ): the thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifteenth, and he said: “They are equivalent to fasting the [whole month / al-dahr].”
