Chain of Narration (Isnad)
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ بْنِ مِلْحَانَ الْقَيْسِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللّ
Body (Matn)
َهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ نَصُومَ اللَّيَالِي الْبِيضَ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ وَأَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ وَخَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ وَقَالَ هُنَّ كَهَيْئَةِ الدَّهْرِ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
It was narrated from ʿAbd al-Malik ibn Qaṭādah ibn Milḥān al-Qaysī from his father that he said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to command us to fast the white nights: the thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifteenth, and he said: “They are like the days of [fasting through] all time (al-dahr).”
