حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ قَالَ ثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَن قَتَادَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَ أَبُو بُرْدَةَ

بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَن أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ أَبِي لَوْ شَهِدْتَنَا وَنَحْنُ مَعَ نَبِيِّنَا صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْنَا السَّمَاءُ حَسِبْتَ أَنَّ رِيحَنَا رِيحُ الضَّأْنِ إِنَّمَا لِبَاسُنَا الصُّوفُ

English Translation
Rawḥ narrated to us, he said: Saʿīd narrated to us, from Qatādah who said: Abū Burdah ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Qays narrated, from his father who said: My father said: If you had seen us when we were with our Prophet ﷺ and rain caught us, you would have thought our smell was the smell of sheep, for our garments were wool.
