Hadith #104
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَهْلِ فَارِسَ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ رَبِّي تَبَارَ
كَ وَتَعَالَى قَدْ قَتَلَ رَبَّكَ يَعْنِي كِسْرَى قَالَ وَقِيلَ لَهُ يَعْنِي لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّهُ قَدْ اسْتَخْلَفَ ابْنَتَهُ قَالَ فَقَالَ لَا يُفْلِحُ قَوْمٌ تَمْلِكُهُمْ امْرَأَةٌ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Bakra (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man from Persia came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'My lord has killed your lord' — meaning Kisra. He said: And it was said to the Prophet ﷺ that Kisra had made his daughter his successor. He said: 'A people will never succeed who are ruled by a woman.'
