Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ قَالَ لَمَّا ادَّعَى زِيَادٌ لَقِيتُ أَبَا بَكْرَةَ فَقُلْتُ مَا هَذَا الَّذِي صَنَعْتُمْ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ سَعْدَ بْنَ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعَتْ أُذُنَا
يَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ مَنْ ادَّعَى أَبًا فِي الْإِسْلَامِ غَيْرَ أَبِيهِ فَالْجَنَّةُ عَلَيْهِ حَرَامٌ فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرَةَ وَأَنَا سَمِعْتُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu 'Uthman that when Ziyad made his claim of lineage, he met Abu Bakra and said: 'What is this that you have done? I heard Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas saying: My ears heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as he said: "Whoever claims in Islam a father other than his actual father, Paradise is forbidden for him."' Abu Bakra said: 'And I also heard it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.'
