English Translation

It was narrated from Qabisa ibn al-Mukhariq (may Allah be pleased with him) that he came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said he was old and his bones had become frail, and he came seeking what would benefit him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'O Qabisa, you do not pass by a stone, a tree, or a clod of earth except that it seeks forgiveness for you. O Qabisa, when you pray Fajr, say three times: "Glory and praise be to Allah the Magnificent" — you will be protected from blindness, leprosy, and paralysis. O Qabisa, say: "O Allah, I ask You for what is with You; bestow upon me from Your bounty, spread upon me Your mercy, and send down upon me Your blessings."'
