حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ عَنْ حَيَّانَ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ قَطَنِ بْنِ قَبِيصَةَ عَنْ قَبِ

يصَةَ بْنِ الْمُخَارِقِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ الْعِيَافَةَ وَالطِّيَرَةَ وَالطَّرْقَ مِنْ الْجِبْتِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Qabisa ibn al-Mukhariq (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Augury from the flight of birds, drawing omens from things, and geomancy — these are all from al-jibtt (false worship/divination).'
