حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنِي حَيَّةُ بْنُ حَابِسٍ التَّمِيمِيُّ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا شَيْءَ فِي الْهَامِ وَالْعَيْنُ حَقٌّ وَأَصْدَقُ الطِّيَرَةِ الْفَأْلُ
English Translation
It was narrated from the father of Hayya ibn Habis al-Tamimi that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There is no substance in hamah. The evil eye is real.' A man asked: 'O Messenger of Allah, what is the best of omens?' He said: 'A good word that one of you hears.'
