حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَكْرٍ السُّهَيْمِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ قَوْمِهِ أَعْتَقَ شَقِيصًا لَهُ مِنْ مَمْلُوكٍ فَرَفَعَ ذَلِكَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ص
َلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَجَعَلَ خَلَاصَهُ عَلَيْهِ فِي مَالِهِ وَقَالَ لَيْسَ لِلَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى شَرِيكٌ حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ عَنْ هَمَّامٍ قَالَ حَدِيثُ الشَّقِيصِ فِي الْعَبْدِ مُرْسَلٌ

English Translation
It was narrated from the father of Usama ibn Abi al-Malih that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said regarding a partially freed slave: 'He works and earns toward his emancipation for the remaining portion, and is free in proportion to his freedom.'
